Following completion of basic medical education at VIMS, Bellary and further formal education at Sankara eye hospital, Bangalore; she joined Prabha eye clinic and research centre, as a Consultant-glaucoma services. Her practice includes medical management of glaucoma, as well as surgical hand in cataract and glaucoma surgeries such as trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage implants and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures, as well as transscleral diode cyclophotocoagulation.
